Update: Doc is about eighty percent or so better. He is still straining to go to the bathroom but his bobo isn't as swollen as it was. On a good note, he's beginning to go to the patio door when he has to go. Also, he's beginning to bite and growl like no other.

Update: My poor baby has Gardia. His anal area is so swollen that the vet couldn't get a fecal loop on him and had to try three times! Poor thing. Tests came back negative for Gardia, but the doctor is almost positive that's what my boy has and is treating him for it. Doc is very tired from his first vet visit, but I'm sure he'll be playing again soon!

Update: Doc went to the bathroom about six times last night. He still has diarrhea but it now seems to be forming. He didn't eat or drink last night...he just slept. When I took him out this morning, he ate, drank, went outside and even attacked me with kisses. Seems like a happy pup to me.

Update: Poor Doc is sleeping on my dad's desk while he browses the web. He has the runs, and has thrown up and refuses to eat. We got him some gatorade and pepto bismol to, hopefully, help him be a puppy and not sick.
Update: Doc is now living happily in our home. He's been doing nothing but sleeping all day. Poor little guy is sick, the breeder said so at least. Calling the vet up the street in the morning to see if we can fit him in. In the end though, he's still the most adorable little guy ever!

We took him to PetLand after we got him in Adkins, TX and everyone in the store wanted to pet him. Everyone wanted to dognap him and take him home. Too bad. He's mine.

I will keep you all updated on his health.
Update: My dad got sent home early from work today! He's calling the breeder to see if we can bring Doc home today. Let's just say I have my fingers crossed. Oh, and we're puppy shopping today, which means toys and such. I love getting new pets ^^

Update: The breeder of this puppy emailed us back in less than a half hour. She has been breeding for 31 years and all of her puppies come with guarantees! I'm so glad I found the perfect bundle of joy to bring home! Doc, the name we decided for him, is the best 21st birthday gift ever. We pick him up an hour and a half away from our home on Saturday morning!
Welcome to my blog! I created this blog on the 20th of March, 2012 in honor of my family deciding to bring a wonderful four legged friend into our home. We should welcome our Schnauzer into our home within the next week and a half (hopefully sooner!)

This blog is mainly for the lovers of Schnauzer's, or dogs in general, who want to keep up with my journey with him. I will try to post every week or at the latest, every other week. You'll read posts about our training process and his growing process. I will never forget pictures.

We have chosen a name, but I'll wait to spoil it for you.

So come walk with me into this journey of love for our Schnauzer.
